As an Adjunct General Education Tutor STEM, you will have the opportunity to work with students, faculty, and staff to provide exceptional tutoring and remediation services. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering instruction, as well as supervising student progress and communicating with College Deans. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and deliver instruction to students in online general education courses
- Supervise student progress and notify College Deans of students in jeopardy of failing
- Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught
- Respond to student questions and requests for tutoring within 24 hours
- Communicate course content or delivery concerns to RCHC & Portage Learning
- Maintain professional and educational competence in the course subject area
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or a specified General Education subject area (Required)
- 3 years of full-time or equivalent recent teaching experience in the specified General Education subject area (Required)
