We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and student-centered leader to serve as our Associate Director of School Success and Innovation. This senior leadership role combines instructional leadership, client success, school operations, program implementation, AI-driven innovation, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate is passionate about educational innovation, skilled at building strong relationships, comfortable leveraging AI in their daily work, and capable of leading both people and programs to achieve exceptional results. Position Overview The Director of School Success, Online Instruction & AI Innovation serves as a key member of the leadership team responsible for ensuring exceptional client experiences, high-quality instruction, successful program implementation, strong student outcomes, and the effective adoption of emerging technologies. This individual will oversee virtual instructional staff, manage client relationships, support school operations, drive program quality, and help expand Centric Learning's partnerships and school programs. The role requires a balance of strategic thinking, operational excellence, instructional expertise, relationship management, and technological innovation. As an AI-forward organization, Centric Learning expects all leaders to actively incorporate artificial intelligence into their daily workflows. The successful candidate will demonstrate practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity, communication, decision-making, analysis, planning, and organizational effectiveness. They will also help guide the responsible adoption of AI across instructional and operational teams. This position may be either Part-time or Full-time, with some monthly in-office work. Key Responsibilities Instructional Leadership & Academic Excellence • Lead, support, coach, and evaluate a team of virtual educators providing live and asynchronous instruction across multiple subject areas and grade levels. • Develop and facilitate onboarding, training, and professional development programs aligned with Centric Learning's project-based learning methodology. • Monitor instructional quality through observations, data analysis, coaching cycles, and performance evaluations. • Collaborate with curriculum, technology, and leadership teams to ensure instructional alignment and continuous improvement. • Identify student learning needs and implement appropriate interventions and supports. • Ensure high-quality competency-based learning experiences that support student growth and achievement. • Oversee student academic progress, retention, engagement, and outcomes. • Promote innovative instructional practices that enhance student learning and teacher effectiveness. Client Success & Partnership Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts and school partners. • Build and maintain strong relationships that promote client satisfaction, retention, and long-term success. • Conduct regular client meetings to review program implementation, performance, and support needs. • Coordinate instructional, programmatic, and technical support across internal teams. • Facilitate virtual and onsite program reviews as needed. • Conduct implementation support, coaching, and training for client teams. • Coordinate quality assurance reviews, satisfaction surveys, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Prepare and present reports on program performance, instructional outcomes, and client success metrics. • Identify opportunities to expand partnerships and deepen client engagement. School Operations & Program Management • Support the operation and growth of Centric Learning's online school and partner programs. • Ensure compliance with applicable educational regulations, accreditation requirements, and reporting obligations. • Manage day-to-day operational issues and collaborate with families, educators, and school partners to resolve challenges. • Develop scalable systems, processes, and documentation to support organizational growth. • Monitor program implementation fidelity and ensure alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. • Establish operational best practices that improve efficiency, consistency, and service quality. Strategic Growth & Business Development • Support the expansion of Centric Learning's school partnerships, online programs, and educational initiatives. • Build relationships with educational organizations, school leaders, agencies, and strategic partners. • Represent Centric Learning at conferences, meetings, webinars, and professional events. • Collaborate with leadership on enrollment, retention, and growth strategies. • Identify opportunities for new services, programs, and partnerships. • Contribute to long-term strategic planning and organizational development initiatives. AI Leadership & Innovation • Actively use AI tools as part of daily professional workflows for communication, planning, reporting, analysis, project management, research, and decision support. • Lead by example in demonstrating effective and responsible AI usage throughout the organization. • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve instructional quality, student support, operational efficiency, customer service, and business processes. • Develop and document AI-enhanced workflows that improve scalability and organizational effectiveness. • Train and coach staff on practical AI applications relevant to education, administration, communication, and project management. • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and make recommendations for adoption across instructional and operational functions. • Help establish best practices and policies regarding ethical and responsible AI use. • Partner with leadership to integrate AI into strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications Required • Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Business, Educational Technology, or a related field. • Significant experience in K–12 education, including teaching, instructional coaching, administration, educational technology, school leadership, or educational consulting. • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing educational programs. • Strong understanding of online learning, digital pedagogy, and project-based learning. • Proven ability to build and maintain successful client and stakeholder relationships. • Experience analyzing data and using performance metrics to drive improvement. • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills. • Experience with learning management systems, student information systems, CRM platforms, and digital collaboration tools. • Demonstrated experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms as part of daily professional workflows. • Proven ability to use AI to improve productivity, communication, planning, research, content development, analysis, and operational effectiveness. • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and implement practical solutions that improve organizational performance. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional initiatives. Preferred • Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Business Administration, Educational Technology, or a related field. • Experience in virtual schools, charter schools, private schools, school choice programs, ESA/voucher programs, or alternative education settings. • Experience managing distributed or remote teams. • Experience leading AI adoption initiatives within an educational or business environment. • Experience developing AI training, implementation strategies, or organizational policies. • Background in business development, customer success, educational consulting, or strategic partnerships. • Bilingual abilities, particularly Spanish or another language.
