What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement an effective compliance program that adheres to laws and regulations
- Oversee ongoing risk assessments to identify and address compliance risks
- Provide guidance to leadership on preventing fraud and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
- Ensure timely responses to reports of potential non-compliance and document investigatory processes
- Serve as Chair of the Executive Management Compliance Committee to oversee compliance initiatives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) within one year of hire
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in a healthcare organization with at least five years in a managerial/supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance standards
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s degree or similar advanced degree in law, healthcare administration, or related field
- Understanding of coding and reimbursement systems and experience in risk management
- Prior experience in public speaking and delivering business presentations
