Are you seeking an opportunity to give back to your community and to make a difference in someone's life?***Current immediate need in Merrimack***He is an 88-year-old proud Veteran with a big heart, a warm smile, and a love for good conversation! He lives at home with his lovely wife and their four small, friendly dogs who are sure to brighten your day. The lower level of their home is fully adapted for his care needs, including a hospital bed, sit-to-stand, Hoyer lift, stair lift, shower chair, and more to help ensure smooth, safe care. He’s a social guy who loves to chat, making companionship just as important as hands-on care. This is a hands-on role that’s best suited for someone with experience, but don’t worry—his wonderful weekday caregiver is happy to help train and support you as you get started. If you enjoy building meaningful connections and want to be part of a consistent, caring routine, you’ll love working with him Sat. & Sun. 8a--1p weekly!We specialize in finding the right case in the right location and are happy to accommodate your needs! If you like short shifts like 9a--1p M--F or cases with longer shifts like a 7a--7p, we have a ton of hours within 30 min. of Merrimack!!! P/T or F/T hours are available and we'll ensure your application is handled quickly.Right at Home Southern NH, the only nurse-owned agency in NH, has been awarded provider of choice four years running now by both our clients and caregivers. We are rapidly growing and have a number of opportunities to work with aging adults in your area to provide assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting and companionship.Although we are happy to train new hires, our Dementia and Total Care clients would require previous experience in order to start immediately on those cases.Caregiver Requirements:

• Have a valid driver’s license and use of an automobile for work or access to adequate transportation
• Willing to travel up to 30 minutes.
• 18 years old minimum.
• Must be comfortable with housekeeping, companionship, and light personal care.
• Able to lift 10-50/lb.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• Must pass pre-employment background checks, health and drug screenings, and professional reference checks.

Bonus points if you have one of the following:

• LNA, Caregiving or Healthcare experience

Pay: $17.00/$18.00 per hour weekdays and $19.00/$20.00 per hour weekends depending on experience.Our Caregiver Benefits:

A TYPICAL DAY AS A CAREGIVER:Caregivers provide personal care for their clients. - This could include (but is not limited to):

• Light Housekeeping - mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, taking out the garbage.
• Assisting with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, care of mouth, skin, and hair)
• Assist with everyday living tasks (moving, meal preparation, eating, dressing, shaving)
• Provide Companionship to your client (this may include running errands and/or providing transportation to appointments, grocery store runs, or just to get some fresh air).
• Play games and engage with your client.
• Make a difference, develop meaningful relationships, and meet new people.
• Give back to those who need you most (our clients need you now more than ever before)!
