Direct Counsel is seeking a Complex Litigation & Advisement Associate to join the nationally recognized Complex Litigation & Advisement Practice Group of a premier global law firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a litigation associate with sophisticated consumer class action and complex commercial litigation experience to work on high-stakes disputes for leading companies across industries.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 3–5 years of complex litigation experience
- Significant experience defending consumer class actions required
- Experience with: False advertising litigation, Consumer protection claims, California Unfair Competition Law, Class certification and summary judgment briefing
- Strong drafting, analytical, oral advocacy, and case management skills
- Experience managing e-discovery in complex litigation matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong client service skills
- Active bar membership in California, New York, or Washington
