What is the role of a Content Writer @ Hite Digital?
Our Content Writers are individuals with a passion for content, serving others, and who want to further their careers in search engine optimization or digital marketing.
As a Content Writer, you will grow and develop the knowledge and skills required to become a Digital Marketing Strategist, Social Media Strategist, and/or an SEO Strategist who implements SEO best practices within our client’s content.
The Content Writer will create compelling content for our partner and client accounts following the directions and strategies provided by the SEO Strategist.
Responsibilities:
- Create content for a variety of industries using keywords and SEO techniques as requested by an SEO Strategist.
- Learn, follow, and stay up-to-date with SEO, Content Writing, and AI best practices
- Follow style and formatting guidelines to ensure consistency across all accounts
- Repurpose content for different formats such as website blogs, Google Business Profile posts, Social Media posts, among others.
- Leverage AI by creating and managing custom prompts to capture a client’s tone and messaging preferences.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in content writing for SEO, Social Media is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Creativity and resourcefulness
- Extreme attention to detail
- The ability to adhere to deadlines
- A demonstrated ability to write concise and compelling content for diverse audiences and industries
- A collaborative mindset and active listening skills
- A desire to learn and grow
Desired:
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing
- Knowledge of social media content writing is a plus
- Basic knowledge of CMSs like WordPress and Themebuilders such as Elementor or Divi
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (PHP basic knowledge is a plus)
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools like GA4 and Google Search Console
- Experience in managing AI software like Jasper, ChatGBT, Claude, Gemini
- Experiencing using design tools like Canva is preferred
