About the role
We’re looking for a freelance Brand & Marketing Designer for August–December 2026 (flexible). We’re remote-friendly but work East Coast hours. You’ll report to and collaborate directly with the founders while our Head of Design is on maternity leave, and work alongside her once she’s back.
We’re a fast, casual, remote-friendly team. We chat a lot on Slack, we’re low ego, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Most importantly, we’re excited about getting things done. We ship weekly, review designs once, and go straight to shipping. You should be comfortable delivering high-fidelity work from the start, taking feedback fast, and working closely with engineers to get it live.
Ownership
Brand landing pages and marketing materials, end to end
Marketing assets for events
Product quality, catching bugs and small UX issues
Design systems in Figma
Growth experiences and flows (onboarding, upgrade modals, etc.)
Responsibilities
Partner with everyone on our small team to ship new features and market them
QA design outputs for polish, detail, and consistency
Create videos using Hypernatural for ads, promotion, and social media
Design new landing pages and improve existing ones
Design onboarding, growth, and payment experiences, e.g. in-product onboarding flows, upgrade modals and flows
Use performance learnings, A/B test results, and stakeholder feedback to iterate on your work
Be happy to flex across different kinds of design work depending on what it takes to get the job done
Bonus points if you feel comfortable working with Claude to ship changes to landing pages and front-end code.
Who you are
Experienced in marketing design, with some product design work too, your portfolio should include landing pages/marketing pages and some light product design work.
A portfolio that shows exceptional craft across brand, campaign, and digital work
Proficient in design systems: typography, color, layout, iconography, grids, graphic devices
Proficient in Figma, including components and design systems
Excited to build a creative tool
Eager to create with AI, whether that’s making videos and images in Hypernatural, or prototyping with Claude, Figma Make, or whatever tool you like best
Excellent communicator: over Slack, presenting ideas, and resolving feedback quickly
Fluent in English (native or bilingual proficiency)
Experience with video and storytelling is a huge plus
