Customer Service Representative I Job Overview
We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative I. This role is available in a hybrid or remote setup, offering flexibility for the right candidate. As a Customer Service Representative I, you will be the frontline representative of BankUnited, handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service that makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
- Maintains high call productivity and quality scores, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
- Develops and utilizes knowledge of BankUnited's products and services, including Retail, Online Banking, Mortgage, and Business banking solutions.
- Responds promptly and accurately to customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and active listening skills, ensuring that customer needs are understood and met.
- Meets established service level agreements (SLAs) and guidelines, ensuring that customers receive an exceptional level of service.
- Identifies opportunities to cross-sell financial services and products, enhancing customer relationships and driving business growth.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-3 years of experience in a call center environment, preferably in retail banking or residential loans, is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using customer service software and technology.
