Job description: Job Description:About the position:Velosio is looking for a Data Analytics Consulting Manager to be an integral member of the Velosio Team.As the Data Analytics Consulting Manager at Velosio, you will provide leadership to ensure delivery excellence and desired sales outcomes. This is a high-energy hands-on role with a focus on providing the ideal employee and customer experience.
Your day might look like:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of professional consultants in a high growth, high expectations environment
• Discuss, collaborate, and develop go-to-market data engineering, data analytics, AI, and corporate performance management solutions.
• Provide direct quality control and/or lead delivery of larger projects in a billable capacity
• Build long-term visionary client relationships that result in expanding Velosio services
• Provide sales support in leading prospect and client discussions and the creation of demos, estimates, proposals, and Statement’s of Work
• Engage in networking events and activities promoting Data and AI solutionsboth inside Velosio and with our communities
• Be aligned to Velosio’s core values, tools, and processes
• Continuously educate yourself and team on the latest technologies and trends involving data, analytics & AI
• Ensure you and your team successfully achieve monthly services forecasts, complete key initiatives, and obtain desired certifications
• Foster a highly collaborative team environment
• Lead activities like lunch-n-learns, social postings/videos, and talk tracks at conferences
• Be an advocate for your team

What you'll bring:

• Subject matter expertise around:

• Integrating complex datasets from disparate sources at an enterprise scale
• Designing and building business intelligence/data warehousing/data analytics solutions leveraging the Microsoft platform
• Data architecture, storage, operations, security, and life cycle master data management principles
• Identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in large and varied datasets through predictive and prescriptive machine learning techniques
• Technology expertise around:

• Microsoft Azure/Fabric with the attendant components
• Microsoft Power BI with the attendant components
• Microsoft SQL hands-on expertise
• Current AI technologies
• Exposure to Power Platform
• Exposure to other Integration technologies
• Ability to translate business issues to creative data focused solutions
• Demonstrated expertise and/or interest in developing strategic go to market plans.
• Experience implementing large and/or complex projects with the latest technologies in Enterprise accounts with quality results
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years of consulting experience
• Proven project leadership experience
• Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills
• Experience communicating with C-level management regarding business issues, deployment methodology, risk and return. Thinking on your feet
• Ability to deliver technology presentations and solutions to public groups
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self-motivation, and a desire to succeed with a competitive spirit
• Possess business consulting, project definition, estimating, sales and strategic and tactical planning skills for engagements
• Travel as needed in the range of 20%
• Self-starter
