We’re hiring a Director of Content Ideation to lead idea creation and scripting for a creator-focused brand built around education, growth, and high-level monetization.
This role exists for one reason:
Consistently produce viral-caliber content ideas and scripts that perform on short-form platforms and YouTube.
You will not be filming.
You will not be editing.
You will not be posting.
We already have in-person production and editing teams.
Your job is to think, strategize, and script — at a very high level.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Short-Form Content (Secondary)
2 short-form video ideas + scripts per day
Platforms include:
Instagram Reels
TikTok
Other short-form surfaces
Focus on:
Scroll-stopping hooks
Clear angles
Retention-driven structure
Platform-native storytelling
Long-Form Content (Primary++)
1 YouTube video idea + outline per week
Includes:
Core concept
Hook / opening structure
Segment breakdown
Key talking points

Educational, strategy-driven content
Designed to help creators understand:
How to grow on social platforms
How to position themselves
How to think about content that converts
Optimized for virality, not vanity
Built for a high-ticket education audience
Clear, confident, and authoritative tone
Exact positioning and internal strategy are shared during the Zoom interview.
Who This Role Is For
This role is ideal if you:
Have 3+ years experience in content strategy, ideation, or scripting
Deeply understand:
Short-form viral mechanics
Hooks, angles, and retention
Platform psychology (Reels, TikTok, YouTube)
Have worked with:
Creators
Educators
Coaches
Personal brands
Can translate complex ideas into simple, compelling scripts
Think in systems, not one-off ideas
Are comfortable ideating for audiences at different levels (beginner → advanced)
Experience working with creator or influencer ecosystems is a strong plus.

Compensation & Growth
Structure: Hourly (Upwork standard, long-term)
Hourly Range Shown: $15–$25/hour
(Final rate based on experience and strategic depth)
