Essential Functions Assess customer needs and timing of deliveriesManage daily delivery schedule for driversPlan deliveries to inventory-managed food grade customersReceive orders from suppliersProvide frontline customer service for existing accountsAnswer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteouslyMonitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team membersMonitor web portals for station inventoriesSolicit freight from customersCreate loads in dispatch systemResponsible for regional dispatchQualificationsQualifications High school diploma or equivalent2 years of dispatching experienceExcellent conflict resolution and skillsEffective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
