Key Responsibilities
- Keep all information confidential and adhere to arenaflex's data protection policies
- Insert customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within established time limits
- Compile, verify the accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output to ensure accuracy
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents to ensure that all data is accurate and up-to-date
- Apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure that all data is entered correctly and efficiently
- Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure that all data is secure and easily accessible
- Scan documents and print files, when needed, to support the data entry process
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. The following are the minimum requirements for this position:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn new software applications quickly
- Basic knowledge of touch typing system and database management tools
- Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately, with a high degree of attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
- Experience working in a Data Entry Clerk position is a plus, but not required
