About the Role
As a Data Entry Intern with Delta Air Lines, you'll be part of our dynamic IT team, contributing to a range of exciting projects that are shaping the future of aviation technology. Depending on the assigned team, you may be involved in software development, business analysis, data analytics, or technical assistance for IT operations in Atlanta, GA, or Minneapolis St. Paul, MN. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in presenting computer software development, business analysis, data analytics, and/or technical assistance for IT operations.
- Support various IT projects in Business Analyst, Developer, Systems Engineer, or Data Analytic/BI roles.
- Participate in gathering requirements for development, design, and testing of decision support systems.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of our software applications or infrastructure environments.
- Help create performance dashboards and service level agreements with various products using data analytics.
- Collaborate with team members to drive projects forward and achieve goals.
What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)
- Commitment to completing the 13-week summer internship program (May 13 – August 9, 2024).
- Willingness to work from the Atlanta or MSP office (as agreed upon during the interview), with a hybrid work schedule that includes both onsite and remote work.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 and completion of at least 2 years in a university program, with a degree emphasis in Computer Science, Software Development, Systems/Industrial/Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Data Analytics/Operations Research, Cyber Security, Business Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Embracing diverse people, thinking, and styles.
- Prioritizing the safety and security of self and others.
- Interest in solving complex problems and investing time and energy to overcome roadblocks and learn from mistakes.
- Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies, Software Dev Lifecycle, and cloud computing, as well as PC hardware components and/or maintenance.
- Ability to conduct yourself in a mature manner and be comfortable working in a business casual work environment.
- Interest in working for Delta Air Lines after graduation if offered a full-time job.

- Ability to digest large quantities of data and statistics and succinctly explain what can be learned from the data and how it can assist decision-making.
