The College of Music at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking an exceptional violinist and educator to join our esteemed string faculty as an Open Rank Professor of Violin. About Us

Our String Department is comprised of 40 graduate and 60 undergraduate string majors, offering a comprehensive curriculum that includes studio instruction, chamber music coaching, and courses in string pedagogy, orchestral repertoire, and non-jazz improvisation for strings. We offer a range of music degrees, including Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music in Performance, Bachelor of Music Education, Master of Music in Performance and in Performance/Pedagogy, Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance, and Artist Diplomas in Solo Performance and Orchestral Performance.

What We Offer

As a tenure-track faculty member at the University of Colorado Boulder, you will enjoy a competitive salary, ranging from $69,000 to $100,000 per annum, depending on your rank and experience.
