Job Overview
The Associate, Customer Acquisition role is a critical component of our sales team, responsible for demonstrating the value and benefits of our products or services to customers and prospects. As a key member of our team, you will be focused on selling and/or renewing contracts, identifying up-sell opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a dedicated territory and team to achieve revenue-based quota by selling renewals/services and identifying up-sell opportunities
- Provide accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts to inform business decisions
- Develop and maintain mastery of product knowledge and technical understanding of services to assess client requirements and provide tailored solutions
- Initiate steps to address customer concerns and roadblocks, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction
- Manage external competitive pressures and handle objections to retain customers and win new business
- Manage a high volume of customer contacts through phone and email, with a focus on outbound communication
- Collaborate with the team and management to provide a professional experience during all interactions with customers and prospects
- Maintain the customer management system (CRM) to ensure all relevant data is captured and up-to-date
- Undertake sales motions, including lead qualification, lead conversion, health checks, and renewing contracts
- Work closely with the team and report directly to a Sales Manager to achieve sales goals and objectives
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- The ability to commute to our Nashville, TN hub, with a strong preference for candidates with experience working in a customer-facing environment
- 2+ years of experience working in a customer service or sales capacity, with a proven track record of achieving personal and team sales quota/goals
- Prior experience in high-volume calling, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience learning new technology and data, with a strong ability to adapt to changing systems and processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach to resolving issues and addressing concerns
- Strong knowledge of MS Office programs, with experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
- Experience or willingness to work from home, with a strong ability to work independently and manage time effectively
