About the Opportunity
We are seeking talented and experienced Customer Care Representatives to join our dynamic Contact Center team. As a Customer Care Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our potential customers, providing outstanding customer service and connecting them with the best-suited Independent Travel Agents to book their dream vacations. You will be responsible for managing high call volumes, building positive relationships with customers and agents, and documenting customer interactions in our CRM system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage high call volumes of inbound and outbound calls, providing prompt, courteous, and professional assistance to potential travel customers.
- Follow team scripts to leave voice messages and follow up with travel leads accordingly.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with potential travel customers and Independent Agents.
- Accurately document customer interactions, transactions, and inquiries in our CRM system.
- Successfully transfer travel leads, connecting potential travelers with the appropriate Independent Agents.
- Assist with other tasks and special projects as required.
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a high-volume call center environment, providing outstanding customer service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a high-volume call center, preferably in the travel industry or related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to actively listen, empathize, and respond to customer needs effectively and efficiently.
- Capacity to handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn and navigate new software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a remote or virtual call center environment.
- Knowledge of the travel industry and travel-related software applications.
- Certifications in customer service or call center operations.
