About the Role
As a Customer Experience Concierge at American Express, you will be the face of the company to our Card Members, acting as an ambassador of the brand and delivering superior service in our Centurion Lounge. You will be responsible for creating a memorable experience for our customers, providing travel, card, concierge, and lifestyle services that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and provide access to Card Members upon arrival at reception, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
- Take ownership of the customer's experience from beginning to end, resolving issues and concerns in a proactive and innovative manner.
- Employ the Customer First philosophy to meet customers' needs and expectations, providing concierge and lifestyle recommendations that enhance their experience.
- Offer travel consultation and minimal reservation assistance, utilizing your knowledge of the travel industry to provide expert advice.
- Partner with food and beverage lounge partners to accommodate the needs of Card Members, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a cohesive and exceptional customer experience, relying on each other to achieve common goals.
- Make decisions quickly and effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environments, prioritizing the Card Member's experience above all else.
- Utilize multiple technology platforms with ease, providing assistance in a face-to-face customer environment.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience servicing premium customers, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to delight customers with every interaction.
- The ability to listen to customers' needs and offer confident recommendations, resulting in high satisfaction with the service received.
- A positive and professional attitude, with the ability to maintain a composed demeanor in all interactions.
- The ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Airline, lounge, or travel industry experience, with a deep understanding of the industry and its nuances.
- Travel reservation experience, with the ability to provide expert advice and assistance.
- A passion for delivering proactive solutions, with a customer-centric approach that prioritizes their needs and expectations.
