About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Teller to provide exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, and contribute to the success of our banking team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Build strong relationships with customers, identifying and meeting their financial needs, and promoting our products and services
- Participate in the delivery of exceptional customer experiences, including proactive outreach and proposing appropriate products and services
- Assist customers with basic requests, such as opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
- Develop a thorough understanding of our bank products and services, connecting customers to the right solutions to help them succeed financially
- Interact with customers to demonstrate care, build relationships, and provide appropriate options for bank products and services
- Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive customer experience
Essential Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
- Strong customer service focus, with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
- Ability to educate and connect customers to technology, sharing the value of mobile banking options
- Experience working with others on a team to meet customer needs, fostering and developing strong customer relationships
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal partners, following policies, procedures, and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience proactively engaging with customers through outreach via phone or email
- Ability to help customers succeed financially by offering introductions to additional team members as appropriate
- Relevant military experience, including working with military protocol and instructions, enlisted evaluations, officer/leadership reporting
- Proficient with proactively sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with customers and colleagues
- Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints
