Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our after-hours team, working remotely from Virginia. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing them with exceptional service and support. You will be responsible for resolving member concerns, answering questions, and ensuring that all requests are processed in an accurate and timely manner. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and document customer concerns, ensuring that all relevant information is correct and up-to-date
- Ensure that all company procedures are followed, and that accurate trip data is input into our systems
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to producing high-quality work, and refer unresolved customer grievances to the designated department for further investigation and resolution
- Multitask effectively and efficiently, extracting necessary information from multiple systems, and reviewing and educating members on our services and their insurance coverage
- Answer a high volume of calls, up to 100+ calls per day, and work overtime as required
- Work independently under general supervision, using sound decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Essential Qualifications
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- 0-2 years of related experience, with 6+ months of contact center experience or customer service experience
- Strong organization skills, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to type 35wpm or more
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to talk and type simultaneously in a clear and concise manner while interacting with customers
- Ability to work independently under general supervision, with sound decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment
- Experience working with multiple systems and software applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
