Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceptional client service. Key responsibilities will include:
- Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents
- Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity
- Conducting analysis of complex/escalated issues and performing testing/validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
- Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact Client/Advisor profiles
- Collaborating with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce to resolve client inquiries and issues
- Representing blithequark in daily interactions with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners
Duties and Analysis
The Data Entry and Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
- Review of subscription deals or transfer requests
- Client/Advisor amount exceptions
- Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
- Reconciliation of Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
- Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies
- Review and analysis of correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
The successful candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to:
- Identify and resolve internal/external system issues or concerns
- Determine the root cause of breaks between blithequark, fund companies, and other external partners
- Provide method or technology solution alternatives to Management
- Remediate transfer issues with fund companies or counterparties
- Respond to business partner inquiries regarding fund information requirements/eligibility
- Follow up on Alternative Investment moves to expedite client requests or remediate outstanding issues
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the candidate will possess:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field, preferably in the financial industry
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)

- Certifications or training in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
