**Job Summary**
We're looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of support functions to support our department. **Responsibilities**
As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:
* Performing a variety of support functions to support the department, including data entry, data analysis, and report generation
* Handling multiple projects and assisting in compiling data and generating reports
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and databases
* Providing exceptional customer service and responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborating with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
**Required Skills & Experience**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school degree or equivalent
* Proven experience as a data entry clerk (minimum 1 year)
* Fast typing skills (minimum 40 wpm)
* Knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
* Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
* Basic understanding of databases
* Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
* Strong attention to detail
**Preferred Skills & Experience**
While not required, the following skills and experience would be an asset:
* Knowledge of touch typing system
* Experience with data analysis and report generation
* Familiarity with database management systems
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
**Equipment Specifications**
To ensure success in this role, you'll need:
* Dual monitors to have Teams/Outlook open
* Keyboard with 10-key number pad
* Windows 10 or 11
* ISP download speed of 25Mbps or higher
* Minimum screen resolution of 1920 X 1080 (higher preferred)
* Laptops are acceptable, but they must be able to run an external monitor at the prescribed resolution
* No Chromebook or Macbook
* Web camera for Teams meetings
* Headset or external speakers (if none built in) for calls
