About the Role: Teaching English Online with Preply
We're seeking dedicated, passionate, and experienced English Tutors to join our team and work from the comfort of their own homes in Fresno. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English online to Preply students worldwide, using your own schedule and pricing
- Create personalized lesson plans or utilize Preply's curriculum to cater to students' needs
- Use Preply's integrated calendar to manage your availability and schedule lessons
- Access training and professional development opportunities through Preply's Tutor Academy and regular webinars
- Provide comprehensive materials and resources to support students' learning
- Track student progress, offer constructive feedback, and adapt your teaching methods accordingly
- Engage with students, foster a supportive learning environment, and promote language learning confidence
Essential Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English (native or near-native fluency)
- A University degree or Certificate in English Language Teaching (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in teaching one-on-one classes, preferably online, with proven results
- Ability to provide comprehensive materials and resources to meet students' needs
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace
- Energetic, patient, responsible, and cheerful demeanor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with online language learning platforms
