Our proprietary Flexologist training program ensures that our clients receive the highest quality stretching sessions, tailored to their individual needs. As a Flexologist at StretchLab Appleton, you'll be part of a team that's changing the game in fitness and wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and perform standard 25 and 50-minute one-on-one stretch sessions, covering all major muscle groups and extremities.
- Customize stretch sessions to fit the individual needs of clients, assessing their bodies and discussing outcome goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service, delivering a high-end experience to every client and encouraging them throughout their stretch sessions.
- Build and retain StretchLab membership through sales and outreach to leads, promoting future visits and membership options.
- Manage client care by delivering best-in-class stretching experiences, updating client notes, and booking weekly recurring appointments.
- Ensure client safety by enforcing proper stretch techniques and Studio policies.
- Participate in staff meetings and required educational presentations to continually improve your skills and knowledge.
- Assist Sales Associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed.
- Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention.
- Keep all equipment clean and well-maintained to ensure it's available for client use at all times.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Flexologist at StretchLab Appleton, you'll need:
- A nationally recognized certification or license in a relevant field such as personal training, massage therapy, yoga instruction, Pilates teaching, or other specialized health and fitness disciplines.
- A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a fitness facility, private training environment, or professional health setting.
- Superior communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to connect with people of all backgrounds and motivate them to achieve their goals.
- The physical ability to perform stretch routines on clients of various sizes and age groups, including the ability to lift a minimum of 25-30 lbs above your head with ease.
- A passion for continually learning new principles in stretching, anatomy, and overall fitness, health, and nutrition.
- A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to our attendance policies.
- Availability to complete our comprehensive 2-day Flexologist Training Program, including online tutorials and in-person training.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:
- Hands-on training and experience in areas such as anatomy, kinesiology, corrective exercise, post-rehab, injury prevention, and athletic training.
- Experience working in a fitness or health environment where you provided hands-on training to clients.
- A background in creating a welcoming environment for clients from diverse backgrounds.
