About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Associate Account Executive to join our Southeast Region Media Sales team at The Walt Disney Company. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, building strong relationships with clients, and contributing to the success of our media sales initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Drive multi-media revenue to Disney by supporting and collaborating with dedicated Account Executives to identify key target accounts and agencies.
- Work closely with Sales leadership, Sales team, Revenue Management & Ad Operations teams, Client Solutions & Addressable Enablement teams, and Clients to build strong relationships and drive linear, digital, social, and addressable revenue across the Disney portfolio.
- Gain insight into customer needs and experiences, and translate those into sellable opportunities to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
- Liaise between sales and internal stakeholders (Ad Operations, Marketing/Planning, Research) to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Point person for presentation materials and client strategy, ensuring that all materials are up-to-date, accurate, and effective in communicating Disney's value proposition.
- Track all meetings, closed deals, and prospected clients on a weekly basis, providing regular updates to Sales leadership and team members.
- Manage deadlines for deck preparation and recommend content, including sponsorships, research, and creative examples, to ensure that all materials are of high quality and meet client expectations.
- Pursue and follow up on new business leads using available lead generation tools, identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand Disney's presence in the market.
- Make recommendations for client-specific needs as outlined in RFPs, ensuring that Disney's solutions meet or exceed client expectations.
- Review trades daily and capture industry and account-specific information to share with the team, staying up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, showcasing Disney's expertise and value proposition to drive revenue growth and build strong relationships with clients.
- Take ownership of external and internal deadlines across multiple departments, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Contribute to a positive culture of inclusion and uphold the values of Disney Ad Sales, demonstrating a commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of media or relevant work experience, with a strong understanding of the media landscape and customer support.
- Experience working in and navigating large complex organizations, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of customer support, marketing, or media landscape, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.
