Position Description
As a Property Estimator & Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving descriptions of damaged property items in various formats, including handwritten and audio that may need to be transcribed
- Performing a Google search of the item and deciding on a fair replacement based on a set of guidelines for the insurance company
- Maintaining a minimum number of items per hour post-training
- Participating in light client phone interactions
- Working independently and meeting deadlines

Working Environment
As a Full Time Property Estimator & Transcriptionist, you will work:
- Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm Eastern Time
- One night shift of 11:30am-8:00pm Eastern Time will be assigned post-training to help service our West Coast clientele

Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A desktop computer (not a laptop) with Windows 10 or above, dual screens, and reliable internet service
- Webcam and video chat capabilities
- Strong attention to detail, typing accuracy, and efficient keyboard/mouse movement
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Punctual and dependable
- Google Suite experience preferred
- Accurately type at least 50 WPM
- 1 year of data entry experience (required)
