About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative to support our providers and members. As a full-time representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to healthcare professionals, answering questions, and resolving issues related to benefits, eligibility, billing, clinical authorizations, and more. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an advocate for providers, demonstrating accountability and ownership to resolve issues and provide excellent service.
- Interact with providers through multiple channels, including phone calls and concurrent chats, to address their concerns and questions.
- Quickly and accurately triage contacts from healthcare professionals, including physician offices, clinics, and billing offices.
- Seek to understand and identify the needs of providers, answering questions and resolving issues related to benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits, and behavioral health.
- Research and analyze complex prior authorization and claim issues, taking appropriate steps to resolve identified issues and prevent repeat calls or escalations.
- Collaborate effectively with internal partners to ensure issues are resolved and thoroughly communicated to providers in a timely manner.
- Develop strong multitasking skills to navigate multiple systems, extract necessary information, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, assisting with navigation questions, and promoting the benefits of these tools.

Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 1+ year of customer service experience with analyzing and solving customer concerns.
- Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
- Ability to type at a speed of 35-40+ WPM with an accuracy of 90%.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with flexibility to work any 8-hour shift between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM CST, Monday-Friday.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a related environment (i.e., office, call center, customer service).
- Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology.
Telecommuting Requirements
- Reside within the state of Tennessee.
- Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure.
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a high-speed internet connection.
