Key Responsibilities
- Contact policyholders through inbound and outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies and provide personalized recommendations for improvement
- Utilize your knowledge of the insurance industry and arenaflex's policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a timely and effective manner
- Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison between customers and insurance companies
- Process changes to policies, submit changes to specific companies, and follow up to ensure timely processing
- Review policy information, reference company-specific claims procedures, and assist insured individuals in filing claims
- Recognize cross-sell opportunities and obtain quote information to drive business growth and expansion
- Document all activity, including changes to policies, coverage options, and recommendations, in our EPIC system
- Provide quotes on endorsements, counsel policyholders on appropriate coverage and policy limits, and make recommendations to enhance retention and better meet customer needs
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, combined with at least 3 years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment. A Property and Casualty insurance license is required, while a Membership license is preferred or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
