- Developing and implementing lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, abilities, and needs

- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and community partners to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to student learning and development

Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or regional accrediting agency)
- Bachelor's degree preferred in education, literacy, or a related field
- Experience working with students, particularly in an afterschool or literacy education setting
- Strong knowledge of literacy education principles, practices, and standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including students, parents, and community partners
- Strong behavior management and classroom management skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
