Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our team in Mountain, USA. As a Logistics Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our operations, overseeing daily logistics activities, and managing cross-functional projects. Key Responsibilities
- Own daily logistics operations management of multiple data center locations
- Create, lead, and support cross-functional organization drives/projects
- Manage and monitor vendor performance scorecards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and development of business cases to support logistics process changes and/or improvements
- Identify opportunities for improvement to the cost and/or quality of services, transform ideas into a documented business case, present the business case to peers and management for approval, and provide ongoing project management
- Manage relationships with various internal customers at data centers
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent functional experience
- At least 3 years of experience managing warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain operations
- Experience in project planning, business case development, influencing teams, presentations, and financial modeling
- Experience managing people in remote and regional areas
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- An MBA or Graduate degree in a related field
- Certification in project management
- Experience in operations management, problem-solving, Third-Party Logistics (3PL) vendor relationships, budget creation, and cost management
- Ability to apply structured thinking and logic, and provide solutions
- Exceptional analytical skills
