Key Responsibilities
As an Experienced Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining product in store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by identifying replenishment needs and transporting product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment
- Utilizing hand tools to replenish, face, and rotate product; building, changing, and taking down product displays; maintaining product signage; cleaning product space; and securing damaged or defective product
- Traveling to retail stores and customer accounts daily to ensure that product is properly displayed and stocked
- Fostering strong relationships with retail store personnel to drive sales growth and promote our products
- Working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 pounds of product repetitively
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and requirements:
- A valid driver's license for your state of residency (Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed)
- A personal vehicle available for work
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to work on weekends
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Follow appropriate food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
- Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis
- Past job performance reflects dependability, initiative, professional demeanor, and the ability to exercise sound judgment
Physical Requirements
To perform the duties of this role, you will need to meet the following physical requirements:
- Ability to lift approximately up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, kneel, stand, lift, and perform physical labor for multiple hours at a time
- Safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to read and understand store plan-o-gram and set instructions
- Ability to work in customer storage areas with varying temperatures
