Job Summary
We are seeking experienced part-time lecturers to teach a variety of courses in the Economics Department, including Introduction to Economics, Principles of Macroeconomic Analysis, Principles of Microeconomic Analysis, Work, Wealth, and Income Distribution, and Medical Economics. As a part-time lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching and grading assignments, as well as contributing to the academic success of our students. Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of courses in the Economics Department, including Introduction to Economics, Principles of Macroeconomic Analysis, Principles of Microeconomic Analysis, Work, Wealth, and Income Distribution, and Medical Economics
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and course materials
- Grade assignments and provide feedback to students
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the academic success of our students
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and academic programs
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- A master's degree in Economics or a closely related field
- Strong teaching and communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse student body and contribute to an inclusive learning environment
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in the course of interest
- Bilingual candidates are highly preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations and contributing to equity and inclusion initiatives
