Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out direct patient care programs, including but not limited to Drug Treatment Management programs, Vaccination Services, and Payer and Pharma Adherence and Clinical Projects.
- Drive the execution of various strategies and operations to ensure business needs are being met, including implementing patient intervention pharmacy projects to maximize financial performance.
- Ensure regional pharmacies comply with regulatory requirements, standard operating procedures, and FDA guidelines, driving consistency and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of clinical pharmacy patient care and services.
- Support efforts to enhance the patient experience by expanding the focus on healthcare services, such as patient consultations, medication management, and retail, clinical, or wellness services.
- Provide expertise, resources, education, and support to pharmacists and field initiatives, promoting staff training experiences and development opportunities.
- Conduct data and clinical reviews, making strategic decisions to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions, and reviewing drug records and patient profiles to guarantee proper and safe medication treatment.
- Utilize exceptional interpersonal skills to win the trust of patients, listening to their concerns and providing a sounding board for pharmacy concerns, and giving individualized patient/supplier consultation.
- Perform other work consistent with the job obligations in this description as allocated by management, observing guidelines and procedures for all job responsibilities to meet objectives and complying with company policies and procedures, including all HIPAA rules and regulations.
Essential Qualifications
- Current Pharmacist license as conferred by the appropriate state licensing authority.
- Experience motivating colleagues to research and resolve issues, working with confidential information, and utilizing time management skills, such as prioritizing/organizing and following details and meeting deadlines.
- Able to work non-standard hours, which may include evenings, holidays, and/or weekends, and travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Willingness to acquire other state pharmacy licenses if necessary.
- Knowledge of insurance plans and computer operating systems, including Radio, Commitment, and Plus.
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, including opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font and size, formatting cells, using copy, paste, and save functions, and printing worksheets.
