Job Overview
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's teaching, research, and service missions. Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in International Relations, including introductory courses, seminars, and graduate workshops
- Conduct original research in International Relations, with a focus on publishing in top-tier academic journals and presses
- Participate in departmental and university-wide service activities, including committee work, mentoring, and community engagement
- Contribute to the department's diversity and inclusion initiatives, including teaching courses that address issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Mentor and advise undergraduate and graduate students, including supervising thesis and dissertation research
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Ph.D. in Political Science or a related field in hand prior to the appointment. We are seeking candidates with a strong research agenda, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $74,600 - $197,100, depending on rank and experience. UCLA offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
