Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care in a Telemetry setting, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring patients' vital signs, laboratory results, and other data to identify potential health concerns and develop strategies to address them.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices in Telemetry nursing.
Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current RN license in good standing.
- At least 2 years of experience in a Telemetry setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- National and state certification (as required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
