Key Responsibilities
- Accurate Financial Record-Keeping: Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process to ensure up-to-date and accurate financial records.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, to provide insights into our financial performance.
- Transaction Management: Ensure that all transactions are documented correctly in the appropriate daybooks, ledgers, and general ledger.
- Bank Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to confirm the precision of financial data and identify any discrepancies.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with preparing budgets and financial forecasts to inform business decisions.
- Financial Filing Systems: Maintain systematic and precise financial filing systems to ensure easy access to financial information.
- Audit Support: Support audit processes and guarantee compliance with financial regulations to ensure the integrity of our financial records.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Bookkeeper or in a comparable financial role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Google Suite, with the ability to create QBO rules to streamline repetitive entry management.
