- Monitoring cost, schedule, technical, and drawing release status of projects, leading corrective actions as required to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Entering cost changes, assigning selected suppliers, and supporting sourcing projects to drive procurement efficiency.
- Preparing and soliciting requests for quotes and proposals based on the defined commodity strategy, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- 1+ years of supply chain experience, with a focus on buying and planning, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience in buying and planning, with a deep understanding of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, with experience using KBM greenscreen or similar systems, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience with requests for quotes (RFQs), with knowledge of commodity strategies and procurement best practices.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
