Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, delivering the highest level of customer service experience consistently
- Manage customer accounts and provide technical support to resolve issues and answer questions
- Enter application data accurately and efficiently, ensuring that customer information is up-to-date and secure
- Respond to online chat inquiries as assigned, providing timely and effective support to our customers
- Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, ensuring that all interactions with customers are professional and compliant with regulatory guidelines
- Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, flexibility, and adaptability to changing projects and updates
- Manage time and tasks effectively, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities to meet performance goals and objectives
- Participate in extensive self-study, training, and testing to develop and maintain the skills and knowledge required to excel in this role
- Adhere to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels, ensuring that all interactions with customers are professional and compliant with regulatory requirements
Essential Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Complete Background check and drug test within 3 days of hire
- Dedicated, private, and secure workspace with a personal device that has a functioning camera (required for the training period)
- Committed to full attendance for paid 3-week Training period
- Minimum Internet Speed of 35 mb/s with ethernet (cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection is required; not compatible with mobile internet service providers and/or satellite)
- Moderate to Advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology
- High level of professionalism, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and success-driven, with a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer experiences
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in customer support or technical support role, preferably in the health insurance industry
- Previous experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
- Previous experience in a Call Center environment, with familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Spanish Bilingual, a plus
