About the Position
This content development internship is an integral part of our Total Health and Well-being department. As a Remote Intern, Healthy Living Content Development, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, conducting research, and analyzing data to support our healthy living initiatives. You will work closely with our team to develop promotional resources, edit materials, and coordinate reviews with internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online research to identify external content for the Well-being Works Better Resource Center, ensuring that the content is relevant, accurate, and engaging.
- Participate in consumer research to develop messaging and create slides for internal and external stakeholders, helping to promote our healthy living initiatives.
- Create slides summarizing ROI for sponsors, providing valuable insights and data to support our fundraising efforts.
- Analyze data across the Healthy Living website and email marketing, identifying trends and areas for improvement to optimize our content and engagement strategies.
- Develop promotional resources for various business aspects, including social media, email marketing, and website content, to promote our healthy living initiatives and engage our audience.
- Edit materials and coordinate reviews with internal stakeholders, ensuring that all content is accurate, consistent, and meets our high standards.
- Support content and asset creation across Total Health and Well-being, focusing on workforce tools and resources, to promote healthy living in the workplace.
- Work with the AHA Resource Center team to organize Total Health and Well-being resources, ensuring that our resources are accessible and user-friendly.
- Update and improve the internal recipe database for better accessibility, providing healthy and delicious recipe options for our audience.
- Develop materials for meetings, including agendas and notes, to support our team's productivity and effectiveness.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Undergraduate coursework in health promotion, content marketing, general marketing, or communications, providing a solid foundation in content creation and health promotion.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to manage projects from inception to completion in a corporate and non-profit environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances and deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
