About the Role
As a Remote Project Manager at Amazon, you will play a critical role in managing our customer expectations, ensuring that orders are delivered at the right time and to the right place. You will be responsible for leading large projects with impact on site and region, developing and executing production plans, and collaborating with other leaders to balance the load. Key Responsibilities
- Support, train, and motivate your team of salary and hourly employees to achieve the highest level of safety, quality, attendance, and performance
- Lead large projects with impact on site and region, analyzing forecasts, determining productivity, and collaborating with other leaders to balance the load
- Develop and execute production plans, managing safety, quality, productivity, and delivery commitments to customers
- Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop strategies to achieve business goals
- Lift up to 49 pounds and push, pull, squat, twist, and reach repeatedly, standing/walking for 12 hours during shift
- Work in environments where sound levels change and can be loud, with variable temperature and weather conditions (delivery conditions include outdoor delivery work)
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 3+ years of experience in people and performance management
- Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Amazon experience (blue badge/FTE)
- Ability to work flexible hours/locations/work slots, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- 1+ years of experience in performance measurement, process improvement, or process-based
