Job Overview

As a key member of our patient-facing team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences, providing administrative support, and ensuring seamless communication between patients, clinicians, and internal stakeholders. This is a full-time remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, adjusted to your respective time zone.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously, responding to patient inquiries and routing calls as necessary
- Provide exceptional patient service, addressing concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Interact with patients, clinicians, insurers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and faxes accurately and efficiently, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Participate in our Quality Assurance plan, contributing to continuous improvement and excellence in patient care
- Comply with applicable CLIA and HIPAA regulations, ensuring the highest standards of patient data protection and confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent, with 6 months to 1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills, with a strong focus on patient-centered care
- Detail-oriented, with a high level of professionalism and a ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Internet and Microsoft applications, with a strong understanding of electronic health records and patient management systems
- A strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences
Physical and Lifting Requirements
This role requires:
- Lifting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, with light work and exertion
- Stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing, with the use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions
