Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to work with American Express Travel Related Organizations Association, Inc. as a Senior Data Planner. As a Senior Data Planner, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing data management solutions that meet the needs of the business. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify data requirements, develop data models, and implement database solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data requirements and develop data models that meet business needs
- Design and implement database solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient
- Develop and maintain data documentation and data stories to ensure consistent integration into existing data structures
- Create and maintain information about reserved data and handle database necessities and create a translation of those essentials into a real database plan
- Collect and further develop a database plan and establishment that maintains the business portfolio
- Perform database arrangement overview, support database testing, and give creation environment sponsorship to database structures and cycles
- Plan database features for advancing runs and screen database requirements considering industry designs, new advances, known distortions, and issues
Essential Qualifications
- A long-term advanced degree in Programming, Planning, Information Systems, or an associated STEM field
- At least 2 years of consistently careful informational collection association experience
- Experience in making and tuning with a social informational index (RDMS)
- Experience in informational index improvement and sponsorship of OLTP and OLAP systems
- Experience in changing genuine data structures into real data plans
- Experience in applying Deft methodologies
- Experience in informational collection progression and support of Massive Equivalent Taking care of (MPP) structures
- Experience in Enormous Data gadgets, including Apache, Hadoop, Hive, and Glimmer scattered framework
- Experience in Bl uncovering, informational index process smoothing out, data showing, data profiling, data quality, data security, data taking care of (ETL), layered illustrating, IBM DB2, Kafka, Linux, MemSQL, MySQL, Netezza, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, piece arranging, SQL tuning, and Sqoop
