We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Director, Global Head of Adversarial Abuse and Analytics to join our Trust and Safety team. You will lead a team of experts in adversarial abuse and business analytics, working closely with cross-functional partners to develop and implement effective strategies to prevent harm and promote trust on the platform. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, engagement abuse, and other forms of abuse
- Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent harm and promote trust on the platform, using data-driven insights and analytics to inform decision making
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Product Management, Engineering, and Policy Development, to develop and implement policies and tools to prevent adversarial abuse
- Manage a team of experts in adversarial abuse and business analytics, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and engineers, to ensure that the team's work is aligned with company goals and objectives
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and threats in the online safety space, using this knowledge to inform strategic decision making and drive innovation
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics)
- At least 4 years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or a related field, with a focus on data-driven decision making
- At least 2 years of experience leading teams, with a proven track record of success in managing and developing high-performing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive insights
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., master's or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics)
- Experience working with large datasets and machine learning models, with a focus on anomaly detection and predictive analytics
- Knowledge of SQL, R, or MATLAB, with experience working with data visualization tools and techniques
- Experience working in the online safety space, with a focus on adversarial abuse and trust and safety
- Strong business judgment and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to drive innovation and growth
