About the Job
We are recruiting a highly skilled Senior GL Bookkeeper who will work closely with our existing team to drive process improvements and ensure accurate reporting of working costs. As a key member of our Bookkeeping team, you will report to our Senior Accounting Supervisor and play a vital role in achieving business objectives. This 100% remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, and we are looking for a self-motivated and independent individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger
- Be a key owner of the monthly close process for assigned regions and foreign entities
- Maintain financial records for Management and GAAP Consolidated financial statements using accepted methodologies
- Assist with providing forecasts to external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews
- Communicate with FP&A, operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
- Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to further our process improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, SOX/internal controls
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, GSuite (or similar software)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manipulate and process large datasets
- A CPA certification is a plus
