Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Systems Site Manager to join our team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a Systems project from initial site layout to system startup, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery while meeting customer satisfaction and safety standards. This is a fully remote opportunity, requiring 80% travel, typically on a rotation of 10 days on-site and 4 days at home. Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of a project implementation, including initial site layout, subcontractor management, customer management onsite, inventory management, jobsite safety, site communication, device troubleshooting, system checkout, and startup.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Project Engineers to assist with overall project execution, ensuring successful project delivery regarding customer satisfaction, schedule, time, and budget.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, keeping your manager and lead advised of the schedule, and maintain a positive team relationship.
- Attend training and become certified in applicable technologies or programs to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's growth.
- Develop processes to support team growth and solve problems for the team and customers, promoting a consistently positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Recruit and critique key suppliers of technology/software, establishing beneficial relationships with our key supplier products and services.
- Deliver projects that meet or exceed customer expectations, contributing to project teams and providing help outside of commissioning scope when required.
- Meet project schedules, develop repeat customers, and contribute to the development of new standards, techniques, or equipment that maintain Bastian Solutions as a leader in the industry.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering or Technology degree and 5+ years of experience, or 10+ years of industry experience.
- Hands-on mechanical and electrical capabilities, with extremely computer literacy in MS Office products.
- Material Handling Experience is required, with AutoCAD experience and PLC Programming preferred.
- Ability to work well in teams, meet deadlines, and work autonomously, with good communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to work in the U.S. full-time without the need for sponsorship.
