I’m looking for a senior B2C marketing leader to act as an independent reviewer of promotionoutputs. This role is solely focused on evaluating marketing outputs intended for Shopify-based B2C brands. It is not an execution role and not a growth operator position.
What you’ll do
Review generated outputs (e.g. positioning, messaging, campaign ideas, brand narratives, GTM concepts)
Evaluate them specifically through a B2C / DTC / Shopify lens
Assess:
Customer resonance and clarity
Brand voice and differentiation
Commercial realism for Shopify merchants
Agency-level quality and usability
Provide direct, structured feedback:
What works / what doesn’t
Where it feels generic vs compelling
Ship / revise / discard recommendations
You will not:
Run campaigns
Touch ad accounts
Build funnels
Execute or manage clients
Ideal background
Former or current CMO, VP Marketing, or Strategy Lead
Strong B2C / DTC marketing background
Hands-on Shopify experience (brand-side or agency-side)
Agency experience preferred (understands how outputs are actually used)
Comfortable giving blunt, high-signal feedback
Has evaluated creative or strategy at scale (multiple brands, verticals)

Contract / fractional advisory
~5–15 hours per month (or per-review basis)
Paid hourly or per output review
No equity, no revenue share
