This is a remote position. HNO7004-Health and Wellbeing for the Older Person As an experienced online educator, the candidate will work as an independent contractor of LINC Education to offer online facilitation services for students studying in the Masters of Nursing (Online) offered by Victoria University Online. Candidate must possess strong knowledge of healthy ageing, chronic disease management, and integrated models of care for older adults. They should be able to support students in applying evidence-based interventions, evaluating complex case studies, and designing person-centred care plans that promote self-management, improve health outcomes, and enhance the quality of life of older people.  Key Skills Required Healthy ageing and gerontology Chronic disease management Integrated care models Person-centred care planning Self-management strategies Evidence-based practice Case study analysis Health and wellbeing promotion  Desired Candidate Profile  Registered Nurse or Midwife (AHPRA registration) or Registered Mental Health Practising Nurse and knowledge of unit content. PhD and/or Master Degree in Nursing or relevant field (i.e. health-related) plus 5 years' relevant teaching, research and/or professional experience at the PG level in the last 10 years Full rights to work within Australia. An Australian Business Number or ABN as a sole trader, or of the entity that will contract with LINC. Empathetic, ambitious, warm and outgoing personality willing to work closely with people from diverse cultures;  Proficient in English language; excellent oral and written communication Must possess  a working laptop and have access to high-speed  (>10 MBPS) stable internet connection;  Ability to quickly learn and use technology platforms for interacting with students, including the host university’s LMS and LINCtrac (training on these platforms will be provided). The candidate needs to be available between 5 pm to 10 pm every day. Roles & Responsibilities  LINC Fellows will be responsible for providing:  Subject matter guidance to a group of 25-30 undergraduate online students;   Support in learning skills like academic writing, research and time management;  Conduct 1:1 sessions for doubt-resolution, academic guidance and assessment draft reviews Guidance on relevant reference material;  Assessment marking with long-form feedback  Management of discussion forums; and Proactive, prompt and personalised support to student queries and issues. LINC Fellows will be expected to promptly interact with students over email, or calls / online sessions from locations of their convenience (e.g. home, office etc.).
