Location: Remote – Must reside in Florida or Kentucky and be available to work Eastern or Central Time Zone business hours Schedule: Full-Time; shift schedules vary between 07:00am - 07:00pm CST. Pay: $17.00–$21.00/hour (Based on experience) Are you passionate about helping others and experienced in healthcare customer support? We're seeking a Healthcare Insurance Customer Support Specialist to join our growing team supporting healthcare providers and Veterans. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced call center environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a strong understanding of healthcare insurance. Training: Comprehensive paid 6+ week training program provided to ensure your success. What You'll Do • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer service calls. • Conduct provider outreach and referral-related calls. • Assist healthcare providers and Veterans with questions regarding benefits, referrals, authorizations, and healthcare services. • Research and resolve complex inquiries using multiple internal systems and databases. • Accurately document all customer interactions while maintaining quality and compliance standards. • Guide callers through online portals and self-service tools to improve the customer experience. • Meet established productivity, quality, and schedule adherence metrics. • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve escalated issues. • Participate in ongoing training and continuous process improvement initiatives. • Support quality assurance efforts to enhance provider and Veteran experiences. • Mentor new team members and share best practices when needed. Required Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED. • Minimum of 1 year of corporate customer service experience. • Healthcare insurance experience is required. • Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls in a call center environment. • Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills. • Strong computer proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. • Must reside in Florida or Kentucky. • Must be available to work Eastern or Central Time Zone business hours. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting healthcare providers or referral management. • Knowledge of healthcare benefits, insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations. • Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel). • Prior military experience or experience serving Veterans is a plus.
