Role Description
The Intelligence Solutions team supports our Data Licensing, Payer, Clinical Trial and Real World Evidence Solutions to drive revenue growth for the organization.
• Engage new clients, grow new markets, and support existing clients.
• Lead client implementations, financial reporting, and data analysis.
• Drive patient recruitment engagements and real-world evidence projects.
• Ensure accurate billing, disciplined financial management, and scalable operational processes.
• Serve as the primary finance subject matter expert and business partner for the Intelligence Solutions organization.
• Own client billing operations, payment tracking, and invoice creation.
• Responsible for end-to-end financial tracking, budget adherence, P&L oversight, and leadership of forecasting cycles.
• Partner closely with internal Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams, as well as external clients.
• Manage business processes related to HIPAA authorization approval.
• Contribute to broader cross-functional initiatives requiring strong business understanding and financial acumen.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, business finance, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience creating and managing revenue and expense budgets, including P&L ownership.
• Working knowledge of financial booking processes, including accruals and reversals.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting contracts to support accurate invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with multiple financial or operational systems preferred (e.g., Ariba, Oracle, Polaris).
• Proven ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and perform under tight deadlines.
• Strong PC skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload if working from home.
Requirements
• Own and create client invoices in accordance with contractual payment terms; track corresponding accruals and revenue recognition.
• Lead month-end revenue and expense reconciliation in partnership with Finance.
• Develop and maintain the annual revenue and expense budget; lead quarterly forecasting cycles and updates.
• Conduct simple to moderate financial analysis and reporting to support business performance and decision-making.
• Identify trends, variances, and key financial risks or opportunities related to revenue generation.
• Prepare financial reporting packages and recommend improvements to financial visibility and business reporting practices.
• Support additional initiatives and ad hoc analyses as needed to enable business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes and identifying efficiency opportunities across finance and operations workflows.
