Role Description
The Clinical Admissions Specialist leads Connection Calls, clinician-to-family conversations during intake at AWA. You are the first clinical voice a family hears, answering questions and helping parents feel confident AWA is the right fit for their teen. This role turns a family's hardest phone call into their first step toward healing.
• Conduct Connection Calls with families during the admissions process
• Explain AWA's PHP and IOP programming and answer clinical questions with accuracy and empathy
• Partner with the Admissions team on handoffs and follow-up
• Document calls and share relevant clinical information with the treatment team
• Escalate when a family may need a higher or different level of care
• Maintain availability to meet the 15-hour weekly minimum
Qualifications
• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
• Registered intern (RMHCI, RCSWI, RMFTI) or fully licensed (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) in Florida
• Clinical experience with adolescents and families
• Warm, confident phone presence with strong clinical communication skills
Requirements
• Working knowledge of PHP and IOP levels of care
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment
• Private, reliable home office setup for confidential conversations
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
