Role Description
Zirtual has partnered with a top Minnesota law firm to find the right 1099 remote paralegal for their office.
This role involves providing high-level professional service by working on tasks and projects as assigned by the client, ensuring they are executed on time and to the highest level of quality.
• Main point of contact with assigned client(s)
• Work independently with law firms
• Receive support from assigned Account Supervisor
• Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients and Account Supervisors
• Ensure time is entered daily using a provided tool
• Respond to all communication within a mutually established response time expectation
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date client profiles
• Follow Zirtual's best practices for success
Qualifications
• Part-time, 5 hours per month to start, likely increasing to a minimum of 20 hours
• Experience with Minnesota business - real estate knowledge a plus
• Paralegal experience handling business entity needs of 3+ years (Minnesota preferred but not required)
• Business hour availability
• Reliable home internet and computer
• Remote work experience preferred
• Experience with Wealth Counsel software preferred but not required
Requirements
• Drafting formation documents for LLCs, LLPs, LLLPs, and Corporations
• Prepare Operating Agreements and/or Partnership Agreements
• Drafting Meeting Minutes and Resolutions
• Filing formation documents with state agencies (e.g., Secretary of State)
• Drafting Employment Agreements or Independent Contractor Agreements
• Familiarity with registered agent requirements and responsibilities
• Amendments or conversions for existing business entities
• Business entity compliance, such as Annual Reports or Statements of Information
• Work with clients directly to gather information needed for entity formation
